Mission Statement

The Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association represents the interests of companies involved in the production of light metal containers, closures and components. Member companies range from large international organisations to small independent specialist manufacturers throughout the United Kingdom. In particular, the Association represents members' views to government and other regulatory bodies, both at home and in Europe, and develops industry standards.

Environment Policy

The Association is committed to supporting its members in identifying, measuring, controlling and minimising the environmental impact arising from the manufacture and use of metal packaging. It will seek to influence the formulation of plans and legislation by communicating a well researched and argued industry view.
