EVIOSYS WINS BEST IN METAL AWARD FOR ECOPEEL^TM

Hot on the heels of its UK Packaging Awards triumph, Eviosys has been awarded the metal packaging industry’s top accolade – the Best in Metal Award 2023 – for Ecopeel^TM.

Best in Metal is an annual award made by the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA), with the winner selected by the Association from shortlisted finalists in the MPMA sponsored metal packaging category of the UK Packaging Awards.

Commenting on this year’s award, MPMA director and chief executive Jason Galley said:

“Some years there is a groundbreaking pack which will long be remembered as a milestone in metal packaging. This year is one of those years.

“Ecopeel is a truly standout innovation which revolutionises the way cans are manufactured: its 45-degree aperture helps reduce food waste; it produces less emissions compared to regular three -piece cans; plus, it is five times faster to fill while requiring only standard seaming equipment. It is truly a milestone pack.”

The Best in Metal trophy was presented by Aidan Rudduck, chairman, MPMA, to Francois Querrioux, chief operating officer, Eviosys; Dr David Hall, R&D director, Eviosys at the MPMA’s annual dinner at Drapers’ Hall on Friday 17 November.
