26 May 2026: The Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA) is calling on its members to showcase their most innovative and impressive decorative packs by entering this year’s UK Packaging Awards.
As long-standing sponsors, MPMA is once again recognising the very best in metal packaging manufacturing through the Metal Pack of the Year categories.
The UK Packaging Awards is an annual event celebrating excellence in packaging design, innovation, and sustainability across various sectors, bringing together leading brands, manufacturers and suppliers to recognise outstanding achievements in the packaging industry.
The ‘Decorative & General Line’ and ‘High Volume Food & Beverage’ awards are open to MPMA members to demonstrate their technical expertise and design creativity while celebrating metal’s unique permanent material status.

Awards guidance
- The entry deadline is Friday 5 June 2026.
- Submissions are open to steel and aluminium packs manufactured in Europe by members of the MPMA.
- Members are to submit their entry into the Metal Pack of the Year category on the UK Packaging Awards website. MPMA will then split the entries into the two category groups of ‘Decorative & General Line’ and ‘High Volume Food & Beverage’.
