The Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association represents the interests of companies involved in the production of light metal containers, closures and components. Member companies range from large international organisations to small independent specialist manufacturers throughout the United Kingdom. In particular, the Association represents members' views to government and other regulatory bodies, both at home and in Europe, and develops industry standards. 

MPMA in Europe

MPMA is an associated member of EMPAC, which was established in 2005, and succeeded SEFEL. EMPAC, which is based in Brussels, represents the metal packaging industry in all the countries of the European Union. [ ...more]

Packaging is a part of our everyday lives but not always fully understood. We hope to enlighten teachers, students and parents to the attributes of metal as a packaging medium with a range of educational projects.
